Big Mamma

Mother

Picture #1

Big Mamma is the largest of all my blue tongues and the key to my Irian Jaya breeding project of producing MASSIVE Blue Tongues. She is 27.5 inches long and fluctuates between 1225 and 1350 grams. She has standard coloring and what is considered a Straight-banded pattern. Produced by the recently retired, Tom Lossman in 2013

Blizzard

Father

Picture #1

Blizzard comes from Sundancer Farms. His great-great-grandfather was hand-selected from a classic litter showing signs of a reduction in the traditional Northern dark sidebands. Selectively bred with each generation to an unrelated classic showing a reduction in the traditional dark sidebands led to Blizzard's anomaly of coming out Hypo. We aim to pair him with as many unrelated, but similarly-trait-bearing females as possible to definitively prove his ability to pass on this unique genetic makeup.

Carl

Father

Classic
Picture #1

Carl is a Classic Northern in a High Orange phase. He is obsessed with me more than any other skink. He will actually follow me to another room if I go. He was produced by James Wilson with classic genes originating from Jeff Greene's line. Born in 2016.

Cinnamon

Mother

Red
Sunrise
T+ Caramel
Picture #1

This is a baby produced by Dave’s Skinks in 2020. She is a specialty morph from parents Tequila, T+ Caramel, and Charlie Manson, 75% Sunrise x 25% Red. That makes her 50% T+ Caramel, 37.5% Sunrise, and 12.5% Red. 2022 will be her first attempt at breeding where we can confirm gender, at the very least.

Dinobot

Mother

Picture #1

Dinobot was my first Blue Tongue and she stole my heart in April 2007. She features standard coloring, a Y-banded pattern, and features Blood Red iris' Coming from a pet shop her origin is unknown but she is most likely a Captive Born (not bred) or possibly a wild-caught, but was still a baby when I took her home.

George

Father

Picture #1

George is a Red Irian Jaya produced Ray Gurgui and Thunder Bay Herps in 2010. He is the only one to regularly respond to his name.

Gladys

Mother

Picture #1

Gladys came to us from a keeper down in Florida when she was a year old. Irian Jayas have a wide array of what would be considered "standard coloration" and within that spectrum lies her cream-light phase. With different temperatures and moods, her coat can emphasize a yellow coloration which has been known to display in her offspring. She was born in 2016.

Goldilocks

Mother

Sunrise
Picture #1

Goldilocks is the nicest and most easy-going of all my blue tongues. She really has that “dynamite personality” everyone seeks. She lost her tail and a few toes from a cramped housing situation when she was a baby. I took her in when she was already 7 years old. She is a pure Sunrise sold by Australian Addiction Reptiles, made from the genetics Seike Reptiles' Sunrise line.

Hermione Granger

Mother

Picture #1

Hermione is a fine example of a Classic Northern in Light phase. She was produced by Little Fires Gecko House. Half of her genetics come from LFGH and half from an unrelated classic by Captive Bred Excellence. Born in 2018

Picture #4

Jasper is a really good Northern (Tiliqua scincoides intermedia) boy born right here at Dave’s Skinks in May 2021. His parents are (mother) Goldilocks, 100% Sunrise and (father) Charlie Manson, 75% Sunrise x 25% Red. That makes Jasper’s genetics 87.5% Sunrise x 12.5% Red. He is super yellow! He’s got yellow on his spine bars, yellow lips, yellow tones in his tail, back legs, and face. And a motivated breeder with ferocious appetite for the larger ladies.

Jellybean (Jelly)

Mother

Classic
Picture #1

Jelly is a pure Classic Northern, and a true representation of a natural Tiliqua scincoides intermedia one might find out in the wild of Northern Territory of Australia. She produced our first multi-birthday-birth last year delivering 9 healthy babies on the 4th of July, 2 more a week later, and one additional baby a week after that. She was born in 2019.

Karen

Mother

Picture #3

Classic Northern (Tiliqua scincoides interermedia) acquired from Living Art in Pennsylvania, after they bought out some of the Sweet Arrow Reptiles stock around the time of their closing. Karen was born in June 2015. She is an experienced mother and delivered her first litter of 8 babies for us in 2023. Fairly nice, just a little speedster. She is above average in size and stature. Her significant reduction in traditional dark side bands are what caught my eye.

Katherine Night

Mother

Orange
T+ Caramel
Picture #1

Katherine Knight was named after the famed Australian murderer because of her extra spicy attitude during adolescence. She is still extra grouchy except when she's pregnant. In the months of February - June she becomes the sweetest angle in the world thanks to hormones. She is a specialty morph with half genetics T (positive) Caramel and half Fenn Orange. Produced by Deb's Exotic Blue Tongues in 2016.

Logan

Mother

Amber
High Red
Magma

Picture #3

Logan is a gorgeous beauty from James Fenn. She is a Northern (Tiliqua scincoides intermedia) and her genetics are 50% Magma x 50% Red. She is Magmar’s half-sister. Born in July 2021, she came to us when she was just a few weeks old and we’ve been raising her ever since. Logan is super nice, docile, and enjoys slowly taking her slinky body over mountains and mole hills (comparative size of course). Her vibrant red colors reduced dat size banding make her an ideal contributor towards our Northern breeding project.

Magmar

Mother

Red
Picture #1

Magmar is the second generation born of James Fenn's Magma line. She is the reddest adult Blue Tongue we have (but stay tuned) The Magma gene is not to be confused with the more common Red gene. She was born in 2019.

Mr. Egghead

Father

Classic
Picture #1

Mr. Egghead is a beautiful example of a Classic Northern in a Light Phase. Sometimes he appears more cream or salmon depending on his mood. He is what is considered a "sub" male. He hasn't quite figured out how sex works but we're still trying. He was also produced in 2016 by James Wilson and is the brother and littermate of Carl.

New Girl

Mother

Orange
Red
Sunrise
T+ Caramel
Picture #1

New Girl was produced here by Dave’s Skinks. She is the first holdback we've kept and raised to adulthood and put back into our breeding stock. She was produced by Katherine Night, a T+ Caramel x Fenn Orange and Charlie Manson, a stunning 75% Sunrise and 25% Red Northern who now lives in Pennsylvania at Sundancer Farms. New Girl's genetics are 37.5% Sunrise, 25% T+ Caramel, 25% Fenn Orange, 12.5% Red. She was born in 2019

Stella

Mother

Picture #1

One of the few Centralian Blue Tongue Skinks in America. The only Blue Tongue to do a rolling tongue flicker. Stella's bloodline comes from the Western Territory state of Australia. Born in 2016.

Tequila

Mother

T+ Caramel
Picture #1

Tequila is the smallest of all my Northern blue tongues. She max's out at 650 grams and 18 inches. She is a pure T (positive) Caramel with a dark iris. She was produced by Thunder Bay Herps, but raised by Morph Graphic Reptiles her first year before coming to me in 2018.
